Jesse Helewell Fritz is the son of Jesse H. Fritz II and Catherine Fritz (nee Killian).

Obituary:
Jesse H. FRITZ, Requiem mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday from St. Catherine`s Roman Catholic Church here by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Paul E. Gooder for Jesse H. Fritz, formerly of 621 Juniata St. here. Burial will be in the family plot. Friends may call at the Eldon V. Mohney Funeral Home here. Mr. Fritz, a retired well known broom maker, died a 7 p.m. Saturday in the Ferrara Rest Home in Rossiter where he had been a guest of late. He was 81. He was born Feb. 3, 1877 (shoud be 1887) in Pittsburgh, son of Jesse H. and Catherine Fritz. He was married to Mildred Lines. She died in 1960. Mr. Fritz was a member of St. Catherine`s Church. He was an ardent hunter and fisherman. He was the last of his trade in the DuBois area, making and selling brooms for many years before retiring. The Rosary will be recited at 8 tonight in the funeral home. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jennie Bedell and Mrs. Sara Sawyer, DuBois; Mrs. Katheryn Rideout, Steubenville, O.; and Mrs. Hettie Smith, Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Jesse M., Falls Creek RD 1; John W. and Harold J., DuBois; a brother, William P., Detroit, Mich.; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A sister and four brothers also preceded him in death.

According to his death certificate, he died at the Adrian Hospital, Punxsutawney, Jefferson Co., PA. His residence was Ferrara Rest Home, Rossiter, (Indiana County), Pennsylvania. Buried July 2, 1968, Morningside Cemetery, Sandy Township., Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. Informant: Mrs. Jennie Bedell, DuBois, Pennsylvania.
