Della Clara Musser Sweem

Della Sweem, daughter of Samuel H Musser and Victoria Isabelle Rogers. Della was born south of Cameron Nov.3, 1893 and died Nov. 18, 1968 at the age of 75 years and 15 days at the Cameron Community Hospital.

She was one of six children, three of whom preceded her in death. Grace Nicholson, Ernest Musser and Lettie Neoma Stinson.

She was united in marriage to David Anderson Sweem on Jan 14, 1921. To this union eight children were born, Clifton Sweem, Ellensburg, Wa, Marcelle Jean Sweem Lamb, Yakima, Wa, Doris Maxine Sweem Lamb. Layton, Utah, Clayton Dean Sweem, RL Sweem, Hamilton, Mo., Ervin Sweem, Independence, Mo., David Anderson Sweem Jr. of Hamilton, MO., and Jerry Leland Sweem. Cameron, MO., She also leaves 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Burr Musser of Kidder, MO and Chester Musser of Independence.

David Anderson preceded her in death on Jun 10, 1962. She was also preceded in death by a son, Clayton Dean Sweem on Nov 19, 1954.

She was united with the First Christian Church. Casket bearers were Murl Gentry, Lyle Clark, Robert Michael, W. L. Kuhnert, Junior Deshon and Austin Hollingsworth.

The funeral service was held Thursday afternoon, Nov 21, 1968 at the Bram Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Clarence Newby of Cameron. Interment was in the Highland Cemetery at Hamilton, MO
