David (Junior) Anderson Sweem, 83, Hamilton, Mo., passed away peacefully on March 8, 2018, at the Missouri Veteran's Home, Cameron, Mo.

Junior was born in Hamilton, Mo., on November 3, 1934, to David A. and Della M. (Musser) Sweem. He was a United States Army Veteran and served his country from 1957-1959. Junior was a loving husband and a hard worker. He held various jobs including the Lake City Ammunition plant, the local Chevrolet dealership, and he also mowed many lawns in the area.

Junior married Nelda Fay Harper on August 19, 1960. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; his son, Neal; four brothers-Clifton, Clayton, R.L., and Ervin; and two sisters-Doris Lamb Crawford and Marcelle Lamb.

Junior had attended the Hamilton Federated Church in the past.

The family members who mourn his passing include brother-Jerry (Carol) Sweem, Hamilton; sisters-in-law-Alberta Sweem, Hamilton, and Ella May Harper Hufft Warner (Ben White) of Polo, Mo.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a good friend and co-worker, Donnie Cox, Hamilton.

Cremation is entrusted to Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Visitation: Thursday, March 15, 2018, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
