"Celia Dempsey, 12 years old, daughter of James Dempsey, died yesterday at Mercy Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 8 o'clock this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. Stephen Stocosky, 839 Packard Street, Kansas side, and at 8:15 St. Thomas's church, Pyle Street and Shawnee Avenue, Kansas Side. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery."

Celia was the daughter and youngest child of James Thomas and Mame Connors Dempsey.

Celia was the sister of Ethel, Elizabeth, James, John, Eugene, Daniel, William, Daniel and May.

She died of Nephritis(inflammation of the kidney).

Celia is buried at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on 38th and State in Kansas City, KS. She is buried in old section 4 in a single grave.
