"Dempsey – Eugene 34 years old, died yesterday at his home 922 Osage avenue. He is survived by his father J.T. Dempsey of the home, five brothers J.T. Dempsey Jr. of 839 Packard street and John Dempsey, William Dempsey, Daniel Dempsey all of 3600 North 36th Street and five sisters, Mrs. Nellie Mitchell, Deer Trail, Colorado, Mrs. Ethel Stocosky and Miss Catherine Dempsey both of 839 Packard Street; Mrs. Elizabeth Brown 1231 Ruby avenue and Mrs. Mae Roberts 2516 Washington street, Kansas City, MO.

Funeral services will be at 7:45 o'clock from the Butler & Son Chapel and at 8:15 o'clock at St. Thomas church. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. "

Eugene is the son of James Thomas and Mame Connors Dempsey.

He is the brother of Ethel, Elizabeth, James, John, William, Daniel, May and Cecila.

Eugene died of TB.

He us buried with his father and 2 other brothers at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on 38th and State in Kansas City, KS. The grave is in old section 4 - plot #202. The plot is directly across from the cemetery office near the road.

The family plot includes James Dempsey Sr. (gravestone), James Dempsey Jr. (grave marker), Eugene (no marker) and Daniel Dempsey.
