The son of Samuel Isaac Burdett and Sarah Jane Martin. He was born in Fulton County Georgia and died in Colquitt County, GA. He was married 4 times, and had 15 children total, 14 living. 1st) Odessar Hildebrand married Dec 27, 1887 in Fulton County, Ga. They had 5 children: Lizzie Jane, Walter Sylvester, Ernest, Rutheford, and Alberta Odessar. 2nd) Janey Hall married Dec 19, 1897 in Milton County, GA. They had 3 children: Leather, Lena, and Thomas Sexton Jr. 3rd) Nancy Virgina Rainey married Sept 9, 1903. She and their child died during childbirth on Sept 12, 1904. They are both buried in Milton Cemetery now in Fulton County, GA. 4th) Viola Victoria Flyod married Oct 12, 1910 in Colquitt County, GA. They haad 6 children: Lora, Naomi, Herman, J.R., Ruth, and Easter.
