Burdett(e) Family Plot at Westview Cemetery in Moultrie, Colquitt County, GA. (Lane 1 West; Section 2, Block F1, Lot 5B) Only 2 of the 5 graves have markers: Ruth Burdett Gordon (1912-1959) is the 3rd grave from the left in the front row; T. S. Burdett (1868-1936) is the 1st grave from the left in the back row. We know from surveys of the cemetery that Viola Victorial Floyd (Mrs. T. S.) Burdett (1886-1947), Lora Octavia Burdett Curles (1912-1941), and Herman Haas Burdett (1920-1955) were buried in this family plot. It seems most likely that Viola was buried next to her husband, in the 2nd grave in the back row. Lora and Herman would have to be in the 2 first graves, in the row that includes their sister Ruth, and I'm guessed that the siblings were buried left-to-right, in the order of their deaths: Lora, Herman, and Ruth. * Photograph taken 08-2012 * Copyright Ellen Hamby, Find A Grave contributor# 47535781 * You may use this photograph (w/o ANY cropping or other editing) on Ancestry or other websites in which you have no commercial interest, but ONLY if you give credit to the photographer!)
