HARDIN-Funeral services
for James Peeler, 67, a painter
and life-long resident of Hardin
who died unexpectedly Friday
at 6 a.m., will be conducted at
2:30 p.m. Monday in First Pres-
byterian Church here. The Rev.
Frank Cook of Rock Fall and the
Rev. Harry Frazier of Jerseyville
will conduct the rites. Burial
will be in Hardin Cemetery.
The body is at Hanks Funeral
Home where friends may call.
Peeler, who was widley ac-
quainted in Calhoun County, is
survived by his widow, the
former Melissa Snider; a
daughter, Mrs. Melissa Powell,
Hardin, and two sons, Howard
of California and Raymond of
Hardin.
