Funeral services for Edna Littrell, 79, of Coos Bay will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mill-Bryan Chapel with Rev. Richard Cochran officiating. Private interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. She was born on June 13, 1892 in Raton, New Mexico and died on October 9, 1971 in North Bend. She had been a resident of this area since 1936. She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Knox Littrell, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Earl; her daughters, Edith Lucille Birch and Lois Jane Newhouse, both of Coos Bay; her sons, Marion Orin Littrell and John Elijah Littrell, both of Coos Bay, and Robert Thornton Littrell of Mountain View, California; her brother, Earl Orin of Cleveland, Ohio; her sister, Verna Walsh of San Diego, California; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
