A BIOGRAPHY OF MARIA EVA HENNIG OBERMEIER/OVERMIRE, by Laurence Overmire (5G nephew), Aug. 2008:

Maria (Mary) Eva Hennig was born Aug. 30, 1763, in East Hanover, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Prussian immigrant and Revolutionary War veteran, Christophel Hennig.

In 1783, she married John Peter Obermeier (Overmire), the son of German immigrant and Revolutionary War Capt. John George Overmire (Obermeyer, in German). They had 12 children, settling on the Ohio frontier and establishing Overmyertown (now New Reading, Perry County).

Maria Eva died in Perry County on March 16, 1823, and was buried in the New Reading Cemetery.
