Ret. Kendall Co. AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, August 16, 2008, Mrs. Vivian Strother Weeks, 75, beloved wife of Thomas C. Weeks. Mrs. Weeks was a native of Atlanta, GA and had lived in Augusta most of her life. She retired after 25 years as a clerk in the shipping department with Kendall Co. and was a Protestant. Family members in addition to her husband include her daughters: JoAnn Hershey of Delphos, OH, Peggy Sue Fobbe of Manassas, VA, Betty Lynn Dobson of Augusta, Nancy Strother of Augusta; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and step-children: Robert Weeks of Atlanta, Doris Ramsey of Snellville and Vince Weeks of Snellville, GA. She was preceded in death by her son: Richard Strother; grandson: Charles Lee Shirey and stepson: Thomas L. Weeks. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
