Phillip Newton Veal Jr., 16, entered into rest Friday afternoon, May 7, 1943, at a local infirmary after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart church Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock. The Reverend Father John E. O'Donohoe, S.J. will officiate. Interment will be in the West View cemetery. Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip N. Veal Sr.; four sisters, Laurette, Louise, Vivian and Mary Lou Veal; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Malvin B. Burch; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Veal and several uncles and aunts.
