Mrs. Minnie Reesman of Fairbury, Nebr., died Sunday evening June 19, 1960, at Falls City, Nebr., at the age of 78 years, 2 months, and 11 days. About two years ago, due to ill health, Mrs. Reesman went to make her home in Falls City, Nebr., with her son, Heasty Reesman and wife. She had numerous strokes which left her an invalid for the past year. Minnie Sophia Aden , daughter of Adde and Minnie Aden, was born April 8, 1882, on the Aden farm three miles west of Fairbury. She was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Evangical church, east of Gladstone. In 1947 she became a member of the Fairbury Methodist church. On March 28, 1906, she married Ward B. Reesman at Auburn, Nebr., and to them one son was born. They lived at Daykin, Nebr., nine years and in 1916 moved to their farm southwest of Fairbury. She resided on the farm until the death of her husband Febr. 21, 1947, afterwhich she made her home with her sister, Miss Margaret Aden at 710 C street until two years ago. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, brother, George Aden, and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Hasse who just passed away June 11, and Mrs. Emma (John)Schoenrock. Survivors include her son, Heasty, and grandson Ward H. Reesman of Falls City, Nebr., two sisters, Miss Margaret Aden of Fairbury and Mrs. Anna Carstens of Elko, Nevada. Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at the Nuckolls chapel with Rev. Homer Dickerson, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in the Fairbury cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert v. Denny, Deyo Traeger, Tom Zweifel, Bix McClure, Joe Dawson, and Pete Junker.
