Mrs. Emma Schoenrock passed away at her home in Fairbury, Nebr., Wednesday, Febr. 2, 1955 at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 21 days. Her health had been failing the past six years. Emma Aden, daughter of the late Adde and Menna ADen, was born Sept. 12, 1871, in Jefferson county, Nebr. She was baptized in infancy and confirmed on April 14, 1889, in Zion's Evangical and Reformed church, of which she was a member. On September 25, 1892, she married John Henry Schoenrock, and to them four children were born, Dora, Henry, Edwin, and John. The couple spent most of their life in farming and since 1932 resided in Fairbury. Her husband preceded her in death July 16, 1953. Surviving are her four children, Dora, Mrs. John Wendland of Eugene, Oregon, Henry Schoenrock of Gladstone, Edwin Schoenrock of San Antonio, Tx., and John Schoenrock of Lincoln, six grandchildren, six great grand children, and four sisters, Miss Margarete Aden of Fairbury, Mrs. Anna Carstens of Elko, Nevada, Mrs. Mattie Hasse of Beatrice, and Mrs. Minnie Reesman of Fairbury.
