But I find only three that made it to adults. With the settlers coming in, more and more diseases were coming too; theses diseases were hard on everyone but especial for the Indians who had no resistance to them.
Augustin settled in the Willamette Valley first, moved to Wapintia, Oregon in about 1872, and moved to Suplee in the early 1800's. According to The Dalles Mountaineer, July 1, 1891, Augustin was struck by lightning. Chehalem Valley Times - An old pioneer of Grant County, Augustus Delore, died at the Abbott Hot Spring, October 26th 1891. His death was due to being struck by lightning about years ago.
