Mrs. Lillian A. Nestle, 8814 E. Blanchard Road, Shepherd MI died Friday, February 23, 1967 at the Medical Care Facility in Mt. Pleasant MI. Mrs. Nestle was born July 18, 1891 in Freeland MI and had been a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 26 at 2 p.m. from the Garber Funeral Home, Shepherd MI with the Rev. Ben Baumgardner officiating. Burial was in the Salt River Cemetery. Surviving are three sons, Pearl of Shepherd MI, Robert of Mt. Pleasant MI and Ernest of Flint MI; and three daughters, Mrs. Alice Davidson of Midland MI, Mrs. Ruth Smith and Mrs. Gretchen Ames, both of Shepherd MI. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Nestle's husband, Levi M. Nestle, preceded her in death in 1965.
