Salley - Mrs. Hazel Gartman Williams, 70, of Highway 394, Salley, died Saturday at Aiken Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Emory Martin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Williams, Gregg Williams, Henderson Williams, Jarvis Hutto, Jay Hutto, Thurston Hutto, Percy Jeffcoat and Quinn Berry. Mrs. Williams was born in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Rev. John M. and Dora Hutto Gartman. She was a former employee of Salley Manufacturing Co. and Blackville Manufacturing Co. She was a homemaker. Survivors include four sons, Tom Gartman of Neeses, James "Archie" Gartman and Bobby Williams, both of Salley, and Billy Williams of Aiken; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Williams of Orangeburg; a brother, James A. Gartman of West Columbia; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at the home of her son Tom Gartman, Neeses.
