Rachel was the ninth of eleven children born to Josiah and Mary Jane (Conyers) Mathers. She married Oscar Dunkleberger on May 24,1909. She was the mother to Mabel, Kathleen and Lona. Oscar died March 2, 1956.
Rachel married Robert (Bob) Conyers on Oct. 2, 1960 in Minden.
Surviving her were her husband, Bob, daughters, Mabel Kuehn, Kathleen DeBord, and Lona Kuehn. Also, sister, Lydia Podewitz and brother, Harry Mathers.
Preceding her in death were her parents, first husband, Oscar, brothers, Riley, George, sisters, Fannie, Jennie Schaub, Elizabeth Pritchard, Martha (Maggie) Torske,Isabella Mitchell, and Mary Mathers.
