Mrs. Loard, mother of Mr. H. C. Loard, she lived at Vidette. She departed this life last Thursday March 7,1901. Deceased was 75 years of age, and leaves two sons and one daughter to mourn her departure. She was a member of the Baptist Church, every ready to assist her neighbors in sickness and trouble. Her husband and three daughters preceded her to the grave.
