Athens, AL - Mrs. Clara Hall Vassar, 88, of Athens died Wednesday at an Athens hospital.
The funeral will be today at McConnell Funeral Home chapel with burial in the Athens City Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Eugene Vassar and Garland Vassar, both of the Capshaw community, and Robert Vassar of Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Martina Ackerman of the Capshaw community and Mrs. Pauline Young of Birmingham; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
