Levi Calvin (Callie) Hall of Athens, Rt. 3, died at his home in Athens about two o'clock yesterday of a heart attack. When first stricken Mr. Hall was on his front porch reading a newspaper and died two hours later after he had gone to his bedroom.

Funeral services were conducted at the home at two o'clock this afternoon by Bro. M. A. Creel of the Church of Christ of which Mr. Hall was a loyal member. Interment was in Hall Cemetery with McConnell-Service in charge.

Mr. Hall was born April 19, 1870, and had been engaged in farming practically all of his life. He was universally recognized as one of the best men in his section of the county and was highly esteemed by all who knew him.

The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Mae Clem Hall; a daughter, Mrs. Clint Barksdale; sons, Luther, Elmo, L. D., and Russell; a stepson, Dan Yarbrough; six sisters, Mrs. Ola Arnett and Mrs. Bessie Clem of Route 4, Mrs. Ada Sharp of Florida, Mrs. Octa Adkinson of Athens, Mrs. Clara Vassar of Route 3, and Mrs. Sue Brown of Route 1; three brothers, Orville of California, Hector and Raymond of Toney, all of whom have the tenderest sympathy of many friends.

Son of R. W. Hall and Martha J. Clem Hall.
