Published in the Limestone Democrat, Athens, AL, Thursday, February 25, 1937.

Mrs. Martha J. Hall, 87, died at her home in the Copeland community on Sunday and the remains were interred the following day at the Hall family graveyard, the Rev. Creel officiating, N. S. Hollon Co. in charge.

The deceased had lived her entire life in this county and leaves 196 direct descendants, including 13 children, 80 grandchildren, 95 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of the late Reuben Hall who preceded her to the grave in 1924.
