Yakima Morning Herald August 29, 1933 pg 8: Funeral Services for Ped Lane, 72, who died in his home at 216 North Fifth Ave Sunday Morning will be held in the Shaw and Webb Chapel this afternoon at 2 O'Clock. The Rev. Glen Hutton will preach. Burial will be in Terrace Heights Memorial park. Mr. Lane, a rancher, had lived in Yakima 14 years. In the family are the widow, Mrs. Barthena Lane; seven sons, Louis, Charles, and Lester of Chickasha, Okla., and Walter, Jesse, Burley, and Edward of Yakima; three daughters, Mrs. Effie Styles of Yakima; Mrs. Ollie Grinville of New Mexico; and Mrs. Laura Painter of Seattle; three brothers Edward of Pasco, Frank of Missouri, and Matt of Kansas; and a sister Mrs. Neoma Yates of Oklahoma. Mr. Lane was a member of the IOOF Lodge of Ledia, Okla.
