Fillmore Herald, Fillmore, CA-Many Friends, Relatives Mourn Death of Mrs. Haney Lemons: Many Friends and relatives mourned the death of Mrs. Haney Lemons, who passed away early Saturday morning at the home of her son, Barton Lemons of this city. he deceased had celebrated her 90th birthday anniversary last January. She was born in Texas County, Missouri, and had lived in Oklahoma for 35 years before moving to Fillmore last December. "Grandma" Lemons as she was affectionately known, was a memeber of the Church of Christ, and was a regular attendant at the local church as long as her health permitted. She is survived by five sons, Barton and Frank Lemons of Fillmore, James and Luther Lemons of Oklahoma, and Hugh Lemons of Kansas City, Missouri. Also, on sister, Mrs. Neoma Yates of Oklahoma, and one brother Frank Lane of Missouri and several grandchildren. Funeral Services were conducted at the Church of Christ Monday at 2:30pm with brother Sherman Cannon, minister of Santa Paula Church officiating. The choirs, under the direction of Reed Dement, sang "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," "As the Life of a Flower," and "From the Cross to the Crown." Six grandsons, Loyd Lemons, Elemer Lemons, Delmer Lemons, Harland Lemons, Walter Lemons, and Joe Summers, acted as pallbearers. Interment followed at Bardsdale Cemetery. Copeland-Ballard memorial home had charge of arrangements
