Mary was born the 9th child to George Albert Roberts & Mary Fynetta (Gowens) Roberts in Coleman, TX.

She married Buster Fowler and they had five children:

1) Mary Edna Fowler Steinkamp
2) Willard Fowler
3) Glenda Fowler Van Ness
4) Elinor Ruth Fowler
5) Jerry Albert Fowler

Mary Edna died of Covid in 2020.
Jerry died of a brain aneurysm in September 2017.
