OBITUARY
December 22, 1965 "Malheur Enterprise"
Vale, Oregon
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Vale Assembly of God Church for Edgar Morris White, 79, of Vale who died Saturday at his home. Rev. Willis Baker officiated. Burial followed in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of High's Chapel of Vale. Mr. White was born on October 27, 1886 in Sullivan, Illinois and came to Oregon in 1937 where he was in the logging business in Alvadore. He moved to Vale in 1957 where he was a member of Vale Assembly of God Church. His wife, Sarah, preceded him in death in 1916. He is survived by three daughters, Daisy White of Vale, Myrtle Cagle of Elmira, and Evelyn Carman of Mankato, Minnesota; two sons, Raymond White and Muriel White, both of Vale; a sister, Della Snow of Alvadore; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
