Evelyn Carman, 82, of Mankato died on May 8, 1998 at Oaklawn Health Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday in Woodland Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Richard Schriber officiating. Woodland Hills Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mrs. Carman was born on January 13, 1916 in Bloomington, Illinois to Edgar and Sarah (Davidson) White. She married Edward Carman on October 16, 1942 in Mankato. She was a retired pastry chef and enjoyed sewing, birds and flowers. Mrs. Carman is survived by one son, Clarence Carman of Montclair, California; one daughter, Ramona Stevenson of Mankato; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, two sisters and a grandaughter.
