May 23, 1947 "Register-Guard"
Eugene, Oregon
Charles A. White, 67, of Alvadore died Wednesday at his home. He was born on October 23, 1879 in Sullivan, Illinois. He married Sarah Wishon on December 25, 1902 in Canadian, Texas. Mr. White had been a resident of Alvadore for 22 years. He is survived by his wife, Sarah, of the home; four children, Homer White of Coquille, Leonard White of Highland, California, and Eva Parks and Pheba Frazier, both of Alvadore; a sister, Della Snow of Alvadore; three brothers, Lon White and Roy White, both of Bloomington, Illinois, and Edgar White of Eugene; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning at Poole-Larsen Chapel. Rev. Paul Collins will officiate. Interment will be in IOOF No. 2 Cemetery.
