Otto Howard Mainard, 103, died on October 31, 2002 at his home in Milwaukie. He was born on March 28, 1899 in Austin, Missouri. He served in the Marine Corps during World War I. He moved to Portland in 1959 and was a retired bricklayer. He married Helen Marie Adams in 1952. She died on March 19, 1987. Arrangements are under the direction of Peake Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery.
