Esther Marie Lohman was the daughter of Herman Lohman and Minnie Thiede. She married Sheridan Corlis in 1920, but the marriage soon ended in divorce. Sheridan (1886-1935) served in World War I, and later died in California. Esther died from meningitis.

"LOHMAN - Tuesday, Oct. 11, Esther Lohman, beloved daughter of Mrs. Minnie Lohman, sister of Archie and Mrs. Etta Carroll, at the age of 30 years. Funeral Friday Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home, 484 Greenfield av., corner 3rd av. Interment Pilgrims' Rest Cemetery."
