DORIS M. TYLER
Doris M. Tyler of 2501 E. 38th Court died of a heart ailment Saturday at Des Moines General Hospital. She was 56. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Canfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Tyler was born in Altoona and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She retired as a nurse's aide at Iowa Lutheran Hospital and New Oaks Care Center and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Figgins, a son, Charles, a sister Arlene Waltz, and two brothers, Duward Snyder and Charles Snyder, all of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home, where a VFW Auxiliary service will be at 7 p.m. today.
