LAST RITES HONOR
REUBEN D. ADAMS
Funeral services for Reuben David Adams, 59, of Grand Ridge Fla., were held Tuesday afternoon at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church of which he was a member.
The Rev J.O. Leath and the Rev. Sam Snider officiated. Interment followed in the Hamilton Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lonnie Ladson, Cleveland Adams, James Fortner, Gene Gibbs, Robert Fortner and James Toole.
Mr. Adams died in a Moultrie Hospital Sunday evening. He had been ill for several months. He was a former warehouse superintendent at Graham Air Force Base and Spence Field. He had been a resident of Grand Ridge Fla., for the past ten years but was born in Montgomery County on December 17, 1903.
Survivors include five son, Reuben E. Adams, Albany, Guyton Adams, Berlin, Royce Adams Panama City, Fla., Elbert S. Adams, also of Grand Ridge Fla. One daughter Mrs. Dewey Gibbs, Moultrie; two brothers Eldridge Adams and John Adams, both of Kibbee Ga. One sister, Mrs. J.R. Fortner, Kibbee, Ga.
Eleven grandchildren also survived.
