For the past four years, Mrs. Lovelace had made her home with the Little Sisters of the Poor in Kansas City.
Born Dec. 29, 1895, in Easton, Mrs. Lovelace was a daughter of Joseph and Bette Abel. She had been a resident of the Leavenworth area all her life.
Mrs. Lovelace was a housekeeper and a cook. She once cooked for the Sisters of the St. Joseph Catholic Parish and also at Wm. Small Memorial Home. During World Ware II, she worked at Ft. Leavenworth.
Surviving are one brother, Rudolph Abel, Easton, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Behee, Atchison, and Mrs. Stella Thornburgh, 1008 N. Broadway.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Sumpter funeral chapel. Rev. John McCoy, asst. Pastor Immaculate Conception church, officiating, interment will be in the Easton cemetery.. Friends will recite the rosary at 7:00 tonight at the Sumpter Chapel.
