Rudolph Earl Abel, 77, RR 1 Easton, died Monday afternoon, May 19, 1969, at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Winchester. He had been hospitalized four days following an illness of several months.
Mr. Abel was born Feb. 13, 1892 at Easton, a son of Joseph and Betty Pike Abel. He was a retired farmer and was never married.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Behee, Atchison, and Mrs. Stella Thornburgh, 1008 N. Broadway; three nieces, four nephews; a number of great-nieces and nephews and a great-great-niece and nephew.
The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Easton Methodist Church. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. The body is at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
