Koreen Louise (Hanson) Gerdin, 91, passed away October 19, 2023 in Cambridge, Minnesota. She was born in Douglas, North Dakota to parents Joy and Lillian (Larson) Hanson on June 6, 1932.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband George Gerdin of Bethel, Minnesota and her second husband Donald Paulson of Cambridge, Minnesota, her brothers, Carl B. Hanson of Arizona, Dale Hanson of Alaska, Richard Hanson of Iowa, Gerald Hanson of Iowa, sisters Joyce Hanson Carter of Iowa, Maysil Hanson of North Dakota, Half brother Kenneth Hanson of Alaska and baby daughter Cindy Lou. She is survived by her 4 children, Deborah Farb of Jackson, Nj, Rebecca (Stuart) Feldman of Forked River, Nj, Randy (Cheryl) Gerdin of Blaine, Minnesota and Roger Gerdin of Branson, Missouri , 2 sisters Joann Heckenlaible of Lodi, California and Deloris Feldman of Cameron Park, California her two half brothers Lynn and Tommy Hanson of Isanti, Minnesota, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She also was an Aunt to 33 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held November 3rd at Our Savior's Lutheran church, East Bethel, Minnesota at 11am, with light lunch to follow. Visitation will be at Strickes funeral home in Isanti, Minnesota on Thursday evening November 2, from 5-7pm and prior to the funeral at 10 am at Our Savior's Church
Koreen owned and drove school bus for the St Francis schools district for 40 years, was active in her church and Allinon , she loved gardening, reading, signing in the church choir and entertaining her family, she was a member of the Red Hat ladies and did the books for Gerdin auto services for 30 years. She was a blessing to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
