Born December 5, 1926 in Sidney Arkansas to Charles Albertis and Gertrude Alice Lassiter Perkey.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was retired from ConAgra Foods in Batesville and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, married June 21, 1947 in Sharp County, Margaret Jane Vest Perkey of the home; daughter, Wanda Faye Foushee of Belton, Missouri ; brothers, Paul Reese Perkey of Hollis, Oklahoma ., Arden Von Perkey of Batesville and Billy Don Perkey of Salem; sisters, Clois Mozell Ray, Tommie Lee Garlin and Monnie Jo England, all of Batesville, Glenn Dell Davis of Pleasant Grove and Alice Kay Milligan of Russellville; two grandsons; James Michael Foushee and Robert Fount Foushee and two great-granddaughters; Danielle Nicole Foushee and Raegan Michelle Foushee.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charles Veryl Perkey.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with W.T. Rider officiating. Burial will be in Cave City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be a Lloyd Rodgers, Roy Provence, Gerald Crawford, Fount Junior Foushee, Robert Fount Foushee and James Michael Foushee.
Honorary pallbearers are Ed Foster, Dr. Tom Cummins, Dr. Gregory Neaville, James Hughes, George Wright and Dr. Steve Alexander.
