s/o John & Hannah. Aged 31-7-12.Stephen F. Bell, a son of Hannah (née Finch) and John Bell, senior, was born in Blooming Grove Township, Richland County, Ohio.

Stephen Bell and Miss Bethia Rogers were married on 5 May 1844 in Richland County. The 1850 census shows him farming with his father and a brother in adjacent Ripley Township, Huron County, Ohio. He died in RIchland County, probably in Blooming Grove Township.

Notes

Date of birth calculated from headstone inscription. The 1850 census showed him to be age 29, thus born about 1821.
