She was born on Dec. 30, 1958, in Landstuhl, Germany. She moved to the United States, where she lived in South Carolina briefly until her family settled in Hunterdon County, N.J.
She was the daughter of the late Richard John and Dorothy Gratt Hartsell. She was a graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School in Annandale, N.J. Linda worked as a school bus driver in Bethlehem Township, N.J., for the majority of her career, where she especially loved the kids she drove. Linda enjoyed reading, going to the beach and crocheting. She also loved gardening and flowers. She also loved her beloved cat, Ruby.
Survivors include one son, Robert M. Hudecek and his girlfriend, Gina Cerino, of Wind Gap, Pa.; one daughter, Suzanne L. Hudecek and her husband, Ulises Sanchez, of Plainfield, N.J.; two brothers, Earl Hartsell of Jim Thorpe, Pa., and Richard Hartsell and his friend and business partner, Richard 'Buddy' Waterman, of Alpha, N.J.; two sisters, Kathleen Bowlby and her fiance, Jeff Warren, of Allentown, Pa., and Elizabeth Tillou and her husband, Butch, of Jim Thorpe, Pa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, March 19, 2018, from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m., all at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, N.J 08833.
