Margaret J. (Farley) Taffe, 96, of Dushore died Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in Towanda. Born March 19, 1903, in Wilmot Township, Bradford County, she was a daughter of the late John and Katherine (O'Neil) Farley.She worked for the former Dushore Silk Mill, Murray's Store and Sullcraft Manufacturing Co., all of Dushore.She was a member of St. Basil's Catholic Church in Dushore, and the parish Altar & Rosary Society.She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R., Sr.; granddaughters, Karen Charnitski and Diane Taffe; brother, James; and sister, Mary Ann Conahan. Surviving are her sons, Thomas R., Jr. and Richard, both of Dushore; daughters, Margaret Hoodak and Rose Gregori, both of Dushore; Catherine (Dede) Charnitski, Mildred; and Susan Lewis, Towanda; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and five nieces.Funeral services will be at noon Friday from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St.,Dushore, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. in St. Basil's Church, with the Rev. Michael B. Harris presiding. Interment will be in the adjoining parish cemetery.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. There will be a vigil service at 2 p.m., and the rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Thursday.Masses are requested and memorial donations may be made to the Dushore Fire Co. and Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 1, Dushore, 18614.
