Mrs. Rising graduated from Frankfort High School in 1927. She moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1929, Grosse Pointe, Michigan in 1940, Sun City, California in 1970 and Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1989.
She was born June 26, 1909 in Clinton County, Indiana to Ralph and Ruby Zerfas. She married Howard Kaser of Clinton County, Indiana in 1929, and he preceded her in death in 1957. She married Frederic Rising of Grosse Point, Michigan, in 1970, and he died in 1987.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Nancy) Hollowell of Grand Rapids; a son, Thomas (Barbara) Kaser of Cook, Washington; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Hilda) Lynch of Granada Hills, California; a step-daughter, Mrs. Harney (Barbara) Stover of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery.
