FUNERAL OF ELIZABETH EVERHART

Tuesday afternoon at the Victoria M. E. church, the funeral of Miss Elizabeth Everhart, aged 78 years, 5 months, and 28 days was held; Rev. H. Horton officiating. Interment in Victoria cemetery.

Miss Everhart died at the home of a nephew, near Prescott, of old age infirmities. Some years ago she was a citizen of Victoria township, and was one of the strong pillars in the church. She was so gentle and kind and good to everybody, that in her death the people in that vicinity feel that they have a great personal loss. She fought a good fight and kept the faith, and according to the words of the apostles there is henceforth laid up for her a crown of glory, and a robe of righteousness in that building not made by hands, eternal in the heavens. - Massena Echo
