Esther Arledge Hill, age 80, of Forest City, NC, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.
A native of Spartanburg County, Esther was the daughter of the late Wallace Arledge and Carrie Kimbrelle Arledge.
In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Hill, two sons, Frankie Hill, and Johnny Hill, and all six of her siblings.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 17, 2023. The interment will be at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Forest City, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Floyd's Creek Baptist Church; 2004 Chase High Rd. Forest City, NC 28043, or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills; P. O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
