Rutherfordton - Margaret Ann Arledge Suttles, 71, a resident at White Oak Manor, Rutherfordton, died on Sunday, August 19, 2012.
A native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, she was born on November 10, 1940, a daughter of the late Wallace and Carrie Kimbrell Arledge.
She was a retired cook and a member of Casey Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert "Puney" Jones; four brothers; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Jones of Chesnee, Sandra "Gail" Burke of Harris and Elizabeth "Libby" Eubanks of Chesnee; three step-sons, Billy, Jerrel, and Joe Jones; one brother, Ronnie Arledge of Chesnee; two sisters, Esther Hill and husband Frank of Forest City and Betty Joe "Baby" Allison and husband Frankie of Burnsville, N.C.; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2012 at The A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home with Gene Arledge and Marvin Durham, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home.
