Shirley Steed, a beloved wife and our dear mother, born on the 18th of August 1926, in East Garland, Utah. A woman of unwavering faith has returned home to her Father in heaven on 5th of Nov 2023, where she has reunited with her sweetheart husband Grant Joseph Steed. She has dedicated much of her time to her church and family. A graduate of Bear River High School. A fervent lover of family history, she served as a genealogy instructor at her church, helping others to discover their roots.

Shirley's love extended beyond her immediate family. Her home became a sanctuary of warmth and affection, a testament to her spirit.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was dedicated to temple service. She served in the Primary and Relief society.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Grant Steed, father and mother, Afton and Leona Adams, and sons, Merrill (Nola) Steed and Brian Steed, two grandchildren, and four siblings, Devere, Lois, Marilyn, and Delon.
