MRS. OLIVE SHIPPEN RUSSELL, 88, of 966 Cherokee Road, died Sunday at Charles P. Moorman Home for Women. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Gilbert Basler of Montrose, Colo. and Miss Sarah Shippen of Madison, Ind.; a brother, Evan Shippen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Ada Falcone of Potomac, Md., and Mrs. Louis Block; four sons, George D. Russell of Charlestown, W. Va., Joseph F. Russell of Silver Springs, Md., John M. Russell and Paul A. Russell; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be after noon Monday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Charles P. Moorman Home for Women.

Russell, Mr. George D. Russell, of Charlestown, WV., Mr. Joseph F. Russell, Silver Springs, MD., & Mr. Paul A. Russell; also survived by 19 grandchildren; & 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Russell is resting at the Oak St. Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 1201 E. Oak, where services will be conducted Mon., Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. Interment, Cave Hill Cemetery. If friends may so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Charles P. Moorman Home, 966 Cherokee Rd. Friends may kindly visit after 12 noon Mon.
