She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Stephen B. and Nancy McBride Archer. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church and a resident of Parkersburg since 1910.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Province and Mrs. Ada Swisher, both of Mineral Wells; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Locke in 1952.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Leavitt Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Ball will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
