Mrs. Ada B. Swisher, 95, who made her home with her sister, Nellie Province, at Route 2, Mineral Wells, died Wednesday evening in the St. Joseph Hospital after and extended illness.
She was born in Medina, Jackson County, daughter of the late Stephen B. and Nancy Jane McBride Archer. She was a member of the Belpre Heights United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three stepdaughters, Mrs. Helen Cochran, Mrs. Mary Deck and Mrs. Florence Stephens, Newark, Ohio; four nieces, Mrs. Agnes Shaffer, Belpre, Mrs. Opal Finch, Mineral Wells, Mrs. Ila Walters and Mary Jo Davis, Parkersburg.
She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Michael Dugan and John Swisher.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Leavitt Funeral Home with burial in the IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
