She was born in Harbor Beach on Feb 5, 1941, the daughter of Elmer and Ethel Heggart Andrews. She married Albert R. Ferris Dec. 19, 1981 in St. Clair.
Lois was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, cooking and family gatherings. She also enjoyed bingo and casinos as well as her collection of lighthouses.
Lois will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Lois is survived by her husband Albert; two sons Michael Sherman of Port Huron; Dennis Sherman of Smiths Creek and Richard Ferris of Taylor; daughters Gwyn Grosshams of Port Huron, Denise (Ray) Hahn of Marine City and Angela (Daniel) Burke of Warren; seven grandchildren ; three great grandchildren; sisters Barb David of Utica and Carolyn Maggio of Covina California; brothers Tim (Jackie) Andrews of St. Clair Shores and Dick (Dora) Andrews of Anchorage Alaska; sister -in -law Carolyn Andrews of Marine City and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Bill Andrews.
Services are 11 am Saturday in the Bower-Rose Funeral Home , Marine City. Interment will be in Rock Falls Cemetery, Harbor Beach.
Visiting is 2-4 and 7-9 pm today and 10 am until time of services at 11 am Saturday in the funeral home.
