Services for George S. Hallenbeck 77, rural Lawrence will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rumsey Funeral Home with the Rev. David A. Hallenbeck officiating. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence.

Mr. Hallenbeck died Sunday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct.23, 1910, in Linwood. He graduated from Linwood High School in 1929. He was a member of the Senior Citizen Club of Tonganoxie. He was a farmer in Leavenworth
County all of his life.

He married Marie Milleret on Nov. 24, 1938, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday.

The family will receive friends from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the Senior Citizen club of Tonganoxie, in care of the
funeral home.
