Grace Opal Crabb, 100, Ottawa, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Homewood Christian and Community Church in Homewood with the Rev. Bruce Osladil officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Crabb died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1992, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa.

She was born May 24, 1892, near Tonganoxie, to Hugh and Jenny Spray Hallenback. Her family later moved to rural Linwood, where she grew up. She attended Villa Eden Rural School near Linwood.

Mrs. Crabb lived for 13 years in Williamsburg, where she was a co-owner and operator of the Crabb Grocery from 1935 to 1947. She moved to Homewood in 1948 and to Ottawa Retirement Village in 1986. She was a member of Homewood Christian and Community Church and Homewood Friendly Club.

She married Jerry E. Crabb on April 7, 1917, in Lawrence. He died on June 13, 1966. She also was preceded in death by two children, Jennie Lou Crabb and Robert Crabb.

Survivors include three sons, Ed, of Williamsburg, Hugh, of Cocoa, Fla., and Bill, of Columbia, Mo.; a daughter, Arlie Riggs, Westcliffe, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
